Like your internet uncensored and working? Stop SOPA

Long time no post, but this whole SOPA thing is so much complete and utter crap that I have to pipe up a little. In the name of stopping online piracy, our government is trying to do what they have been trying to do for years – censor the internet to the point where it is only useful for commercial purposes by well established big business. I don’t mean keep you from looking at naked people or anything like that, but free speech – especially free speech with a very large potential audience – is the enemy of dictatorships, corporatocracies and other “evil” regimes.
If you think the gov wouldn’t use this to shut down anything they deem a “threat” at some point down the road, I have a bridge to sell you. If you think the major corporations who call the shots won’t use this to squash potential competitors before they can leave the startup stage… I am out of clichés…
