Maybe we have just sunk so low that it seems like there is nowhere to go but up. But personally, even though I am without an employer, I have actually seen some significant gains in my investments for the first time in, well, too long. Maybe it is because I have more time during the day to actually pay attention, learn some things and do some trading. Or maybe it is because the only significant thing left in my portfolio happens to be AAPL. Thanks, iPhone. Thanks, Steve Jobs. Thanks, Chinese manufacturers with employees who die suspiciously.
